Introducing the Obama Organizing Fellows This summer we are looking for students and recent graduates who want to be a part of a new generation of leadership that believes, like Senator Obama, that real change comes from the ground up. Fellows will be trained on the basics of organizing & campaign fundamentals and then placed in a community to carry out grassroots activities. Fellows will be asked to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week and will: * participate in training on field organizing, messaging, and other activities * organize in a community, working in conjunction with grassroots leaders and campaign staff * continue to build the movement Due to overwhelming interest, we’ve extended the deadline for applications to Thursday, May 15th at midnight eastern time. We strongly encourage individuals to apply early. Applicants should expect to receive further communication in May. Program participation will start on June 5 and run through the end of the summer. Its Official: Director, Customer Success

Eddie Nguyen is promoted to the position of Director, Customer Success. In the short time that Eddie has been at Marketo, he has been a dynamo leading our sales consulting efforts and getting to know our customers and prospects. In this new role, Eddie will be responsible for our end-to-end sales and customer technical operation, including pre-sales consulting, pre/post-sales customer onboarding, and post-sales customer support. BL as Manager of Community and Content, will report to Eddie, plus Eddie is looking to hire two additional folks into his team. In his new role, Eddie will continue to report to Frances.
Please join me in congratulating Glen and Eddie on their promotions to these two critical customer-facing roles at Marketo. I have great confidence that individually and together, they’ll make a huge and growing contribution to our success.
